You can hardly go to the cinema these days and find a film that isn't a remake, sequel or franchise spinoff. While box office numbers tell a certain story of viewers going to see these film remakes in their numbers.

This data set aims to display viewer satisfaction with these films by gauging how they rate them after viewing and comparing that to how the originals were rated.
